The Atelier
A one-woman atelier, working the old way.
NESNES is run from a small studio in Dublin, where every commission is cut, draped and stitched by hand. I take on a limited number of pieces at a time – wedding dresses, evening wear, and the everyday pieces you'll actually reach for. Natural fibres only, and heritage technique wherever the story of the piece calls for it.
Technique & Textile
Couture construction, heritage cloth.
Every commission begins on you – a toile, hand-pinned and fitted directly to your shape. From there: hand-padded canvas, hand-finished seams, natural fibres sourced from small European mills. Where the story calls for it, heritage needlework – hand embroidery, traditional stitch – carried in thread by thread.
